Math Mentor Club is on a mission to drive teacher career growth through mastery, not burnout. We believe that when the curriculum doesn’t work, that shouldn’t mean more work for you. We empower educators with high-yield strategies—making small changes that lead to big results for your students’ scores and your professional success.

We operate on the belief that effective teaching is a science, not a sacrifice. We prioritize tactical efficiency, rejecting the narrative that educator burnout is a badge of honor. Instead, we value visual clarity over rote memorization, championing logic-based frameworks—like strip diagrams—that simplify the complex. Ultimately, we stand for professional ROI: ensuring that every strategy we provide doesn't just fill a lesson plan, but measurably lifts student data and elevates your standing as an expert in the classroom.

Skylar Chastain founded Math Mentor Club after recognizing a critical need for affirming, results-driven support for elementary math teachers. In an educational landscape increasingly defined by performance-based pay structures and rigid standardized curricula, many educators felt caught between conflicting demands. Skylar understood that teachers weren't looking to "rebel" against mandates, but rather sought intelligent strategies to effectively implement curriculum, maximize student outcomes, and ultimately, excel within their district's framework. Math Mentor Club was built on this premise: to empower teachers with the precise, high-leverage tactics required to not only navigate these pressures but to turn them into opportunities for significant student growth and professional advancement.
